Where do you go when we need you the most? Your sound is so accessible, yet so distant from the lives we live. We take your calmness, your peace and your stillness for granted. We all want it at different times in our lives, whether we are young or old, and it has no time limit. Silence, you are a sound so unforgiving, so powerful and so needed. When is silence enough? When are you too much? When are you not healthy? Your alter ego, on the other hand, bathes in everything you lack. Loud, why are you so deadly? Why must you take so much and give so little? Loud, you are a sound so confident, destructive and yet misunderstood. How does it feel, Loud, to command so much attention while no one truly hears you? We need both silence and loudness. In our happiest of days and darkest of nights, you both provide the relief we need. We take for granted the feeling you give us and the emotion you amplify.
