Chris Warner (Meford, N.J./Shawnee) Warner performed very well in the Glade Springs Invitational signing for a 278 thanks to a 68 in the third round on Tuesday. Warner’s two day, three round 278 (72-77-68) was good enough to allow him to finish in a tie for third and to help West Chester finish in a tie for eighth as a team. Warner’s third round 68 was the field’s low round for the third round and tied for the low round of the Tournament. 68 is also the lowest round by a West Chester golfer since Drew Patterson signed for a 67 in the third round of the Oglebay Invitational. This is also just the 16th time in the last 10 years that a West Chester golfer came in under 70 in a round and is tied for the fifth-lowest round by a WCU golfer in the last 10 years.
