Think you’re ready for your close up? Then Levi’s brand jeans want YOU, the everyday college student, for their spring 2007 ad campaign Levi’s Style Search is touring select college campuses to find both male and female students to model their spring fashions. Levi’s will be opening “Pop Up” shops at the campuses to showoff their Skinny, Straight leg and new Levi’s Capital E premium line. These shops will also be where the open casting calls are held. The contest began September 6, and runs until October 20. The closest location for WCU students is George Washington University in Washington, D.C., but other venues include campuses in Providence, Knoxville and Santa Barbara. One male and one female will be chosen from each of these locations. Can’t make it to any of these cities? Don’t worry; you can enter online at www.StyleSearch.Levi.com. Two online contestants, one male and one female will win as well, for a total of ten winners.
Not sure what to wear to the casting call? Fiona McRobert, a representative for the contest said, “Students will be judged on great individual style. Entrants should wear anything Levi’s, from this fall’s skinny jeans, to their favorite classic 501’s. Again, the key is to show your individual style.”
Wondering exactly what your prize is? Well, how does being photographed for a print ad that will run in various local and national print publications sound? Winners will be flown to New York City to shoot the promotional ad. The winners will be notified by phone in late fall and the shoot will take place early next year for the spring 2007 print ad campaign.
