Last week on Sept. 19, production of the upcoming Marvel movie “Spiderman: Brave New Day,” (2026) halted production after the injury of the leading actor, Tom Holland. Resulting from a stunt gone wrong, Holland was swiftly admitted to an undisclosed hospital to treat his sustained injuries from the stunt. Diagnosed with a mild concussion, Holland was then released on the same day he was admitted and reported to be taking a short break from acting while he recovers. Production is set to resume on Sept. 29 after Holland’s recovery, according to Sony Representatives. However, fans are still worried about his current condition.
Following the injury, Holland recently appeared in public on Sept. 20, just one day after he was discharged from the hospital. Attending an event with The Brothers Trust in London, a charity he runs with his three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy Holland, Holland was spotted with his fiancée, Zendaya. Responsible for hosting the event, Holland reportedly acted as the “quizmaster,” where he led a pub-quiz inspired contest, including prizes such as a game of golf with him, according to “The Cosmopolitan.” However, reports claim that Holland left the event early due to not feeling well at the time of the charity event. While not specifically stating Holland left due to his injury, many people speculate that his mild concussion was the cause of his early departure.
Also seen in attendance at the charity event was Dominic Holland, Tom’s father and famed comedian. Speaking out for his son, he expressed concern for the young actor and stated that Tom will be away from filming “for awhile,” during his recovery. While fans wait in anticipation for their beloved Spiderman to return, this reviewer, and many alike, hope and wish the best for Holland in his recent recovery.
