In doubles, Massaro and Skulsky lost to Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Katy Graydon and Lydia Vlachou (82). Graydon was part of IUP’s championship doubles team in 2021.

Freshman Lucas Henke and senior Andre Zequqira competed in both singles and as the men’s doubles team at the championships.

Henke fell to EU’s Bruno Sabio in straight sets (60, 60) in his first match. Sabio was the singles champion in 2021 and is the current 2022 champion.

Henke and Zequqira were defeated in their first doubles match as well by EU’s Sabio and Rocco Palombarini (84). Sabio and Palombarini went on to win the championship.

In singles, each game is broken up into three sets. If one player wins the first two sets, the third will not be played.
