In last week’s Actual Factual, I asked about people’s favorite horror films and TV shows. Samantha Walsh, Quad Editor-in-Chief, said that, while no movie has ever scared her as much as “Hereditary,” her overall favorite horror movie is “Saw.” Christoforos Sassaris, Quad Arts and Entertainment Editor, also noted how scary “Hereditary” was, but said that his favorite horror film is Kubrick’s “The Shining.” News Editor Alexis Lincoln said that her favorite horror movie is “The Den.” Managing Editor Ashley Martindale’s favorite horror film is “The Blair Witch Project.” Lastly, Features Editor Kirsten Magas’ favorite horror film is “Get Out.”

This Week’s Topic: “Favorite Theme Songs & Jingles”

What are your favorite theme songs and/or jingles from any media source? What do you enjoy about it/them? Please send your responses to JJ863332@wcupa.edu.

My Response

My all-time favorite jingles are from “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” plus its spin-off, “She-Ra: Princess of Power.” I always enjoy performing the shows’ opening and alteration theme songs. Mainly, I enjoy when Prince Adam of Planet Eternia and his pet mopey green tiger Cringer are becoming He-Man and Battle Cat. Plus, I like when Adam’s twin sister, Princess Adora, and her beloved white stallion, Spirit, are becoming She-Ra and Swift Wind.
