Welcome back, West Chester!
I hope you all had a safe and relaxing winter break, and I hope you had a productive first week back.
If you’ve been keeping up with The Quad, then you know this was my second issue as Editor-in-Chief. Putting the paper together this past Sunday was certainly an interesting affair. Due to Winter Storm Jonas, we were down a copy editor and our wonderful advisor, Dr. T, was unable to make it to our office in Sykes. We were also quite disheartened when lunch time rolled around and found that Ram’s Head was closed the entire day. Fortunately, we were able to find a place that was open for delivery. Shoutout to you, Athena Pizza, for saving the day!
In spite of the snow, our staff worked hard and put together a great first issue of the semester. We have articles on a variety of topics, such as Being the Change, the new College of Business and Public Affairs building, interviews with some pretty big names, and a number of sports events. Be sure to check them out!
If you are interested in writing or taking pictures for The Quad, email the editor of the section you would like to write for by Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. You should also keep an eye out for our table at the Organization Fair on Wednesday.
