Dear West Chester,
If you’ve been keeping up with The Quad this semester, then you will know that the previous week was the wonderful Theresa Kelly’s last issue as editor-in-chief. She will be focusing on her student teaching next semester, so I wish her all the best in her future endeavors. I know she has a bright future ahead of her. Thanks for being a great editor-in-chief, Theresa! I will work hard to be just as amazing as you were.
I am excited to work with the new editorial board as well. Our former dedicated business manager, Mark Shollenberger, is now our dedicated managing editor. Domenico Martorana is his replacement as business manager, and I know Domenico will be a positive addition to The Quad. Kinjal Shah, one of our former copy editors, has taken on the role of news editor, and so far she has already proved herself to be a tireless worker.
Now, Thanksgiving break is almost upon us, and although it is less than a week long, I will welcome it with open arms. It will be a nice reprieve before I (and I’m sure all of you) will have to buckle down and prepare to finish my term papers and study for exams. Of course, I also can’t wait to see my parents and, just as importantly, my pets.
I know this seems a bit early, but given that this is our last issue of the semester, I would like to say good luck during finals week and have a wonderful winter break! I look forward to returning in the spring!
