On September 12, iPhone 6 pre-orders set an overnight record. Due to the phone’s new features, it is no surprise. Not only has Apple released this new phone, it has made many other changes to their products this season.

Apple’s iPhone 6, which is officially being released on Sept. 19, is already in huge demand across the globe. It comes in two sizes, the standard 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus. Both phones are equipped with iOS 8 and can reach a storage capacity of up to 128 GB.

The iPhone 6 is set to include better photography options for low light settings, as well as better video options. More specifically, the iPhone6 intends to have better quality for both recording and watching video. Typing will be easier with less typos when auto correct is on. The battery life is also greater with the newly added standby option.

With new items coming in, Apple has also decided to retire the iPhone 4s and iPod classic, enabling all mobile devices to run on the standard lightning pin charger.

Replacing these retired devices is the Apple watch, which is going to be released in the beginning of 2015. This small device allows access to mail, phone, and messages among many other options. The Apple Watch must be paired with an iOS 8 device at all times.

Apple plans on releasing in October is the Apple Pay system, which enables a person to pay via iPhone 6. The intention of this system is to eventually make credit cards obsolete.

While most of these items come at great costs, from now until Oct. 13, Apple is giving out U2’s new album, Songs of Innocence, for free on iTunes.
