Maggie Stella (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) had yet another great week for the Golden Rams as she tallied nine goals and four assists for a total of 13 points while also coming away with 13 draw controls and three ground balls in a perfect 2-0 week for West Chester that catapulted the Golden Rams into first place atop the PSAC. On Tuesday, Stella began her week with a impressive five-point performance as she scored four goals and added one assist to go along with seven draw controls to help West Chester to a 17-6 victory over Bloomsburg. On Saturday, Stella continued her strong play as she tallied five goals and three assists.
Joe Zirolli (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) had a huge week for West Chester as he registered eight hits, six runs scored, 11 RBI and four home runs over the course of a 3-2 week for the purple and gold. Zirolli began his week on Thursday afternoon opposite Chestnut Hill when he went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, five RBI and a pair of home runs to lead West Chester to a thrilling 16-14 victory over its hosts. On Saturday afternoon at Millersville, Zirolli continued to produce as he finished the doubleheader with three hits, a run scored, and two RBI with one of his three hits being a home run.
