The wind is blowing me home
Away from all this chaos
As the leaves fall, I’m starting to feel home sick
Home sick for a country that I once lived in
Where going to the beach wasn’t a vacation but random Tuesday
Where instead of fall leaves the wind would blow palm trees
Merengue and Bachata filling in the silence at night
My grandma telling me to go to the colmado for quick ingredients for her “Bandera”
While I left that country, mi pais siempre vivara en mi
-Mi Bandera
