The memory of her love
was like the flag which bears a soldiers back
And like a soldier I carry it with pride and honor
For my life has sworn allegiance to her
I once was a nomad but when she called to my soul, like the soldiers flag,
she became my homeland
My patriotism finds its home in her
For her laughter is the only anthem my soul knows how to sing
Now I quench with a thirst that no water can satisfy
Because my tastebuds have been spoiled by the taste of her sweetness
Even If I could just relish the taste of her lips,
my spirit would be complete feeding off of my love swollen tongue
when my soul cries for her in my sleep
I often think of her when the sun kisses my head
And when the stars come out to wish me sweet dreams
I talk to the moon about her and he tells about the sun
Like tossing pennies into a fountain
We seal the fate of our love with the shooting stars
