For years, Apple has managed to keep the hype around its new devices and software coming to its users. The Sept. 7 Apple event was no exception, with Apple showcasing the new generation of iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. I’m here to let you know what was announced about the new evolution of these devices.

The company detailed that the new line is called “Series 8.” It’s swim-proof, dustproof and crack-resistant. Series 8 of the Apple Watch will include more focus on women’s health. They’re introducing a new feature to help with ovulation by temperature sensing. They also have an ovulation date estimation, and you’ll be able to see this on your iPhone as well.  A couple of years ago, Apple introduced a feature to help with women’s cycles, so this is something to go along with that.

Series 8 will also include crash detection to help with safety on the road. The watch will be able to pick up crash detection in vehicles like SUVs, pickup trucks and passenger cars. Series 8 also has a low power mode, limiting some features but still able to fulfill the watch experience. It will be available in Series 4 and onwards. The series’ 8 colors will be midnight, starlight, silver and product red.

Other features include fast charging, edge-to-edge display, advanced cycle training, ECG, and more. The Apple Watch SE 2nd generation will be available in midnight, starlight, and silver. The SE Watch will also be able to detect crash detection. The SE can set up a family mode for kids who can’t have iPhones yet. It will have a 30% bigger display than the Apple Watch Series 3.

The Apple Watch ultra is designed to be used in the most extreme conditions and adventures. Whether it’s extreme weather or sports, it’s built to last. They also made durable bands tp go along with the watches. There’s an update to GPS as well to help you in whatever landscape you may be in. Apple and Huish Outdoors will develop a joint app for divers to get all the information they need, whether it’s before they jump or when they’re in the water. It will be called “oceanic+.” Other features include a siren, 60-hour battery life, night mode and more. You can order the watch now and it will be fully available on Sept. 23 for $799.

Now for AirPods, the new generation of AirPods Pro. Having a new H2 chip will make the sound even better. With iOS 16 and the new Airpod Pro, you will be able to have personal spatial audio. The pros will have two times more noise cancellation ability. They also introduced touch control, which allows you to control volume, calls and more. If you lose the charging case, you will now be able to find the case through its new speakers at the bottom, just like your iPhone or actual AirPods, making finding it way easier. The new AirPods Pro will cost $249. You can order it now and it will be available on Sept. 23.

Last but certainly not least, the iPhone, which we have all been waiting for, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 plus. The iPhone 14 will include all-day battery life, five new colors, an ultra-wide camera, a 5-core GPU, a new front camera with autofocus and more. The phone will cost $799, with pre-order being available now and fully available on Sept.16. The iPhone 14 pro and pro max will include crash protection, four new colors, a dynamic island on screen, a ceramic shield and more. The iPhone 14 Pro will cost $999, while the pro max will cost $1099.

To bring it all together, Apple has announced the new iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro. Upgrades to the Apple Watch SE and the new Series 8 Apple Watch should be available to order when this article is out.
