Keir Uhlin and Dylan North posted first-place showings while West Chester’s 200 medley relay was also a winner as the host Golden Rams swept a tri-meet with guests Shippensburg and Southern Connecticut State on Saturday morning.

West Chester (2-1) picked up a pair of wins following a season-opening loss at NYU last weekend. West Chester topped Shippensburg, 194-138, while beating Southern Connecticut State, 214-121.

Uhlin, who was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay that picked up a first-place ribbon Friday night, topped the field in the 1650 free – just ahead of teammate Collin Pettit. Uhlin posted a time of 16 minutes, 36.02 seconds, showing an excellent time for a mile this early in the season. Pettit touched the wall in 16:43.35, which was also an excellent time.

West Chester took first and second in the 1650 free and swept the top three spots in the 200 backstroke. Dylan North won the 200 back in 1:56.65 while Logan Brockway (1:57.84) was second and Kohle Kerchner (2:01.18) was third.

Kerchner led off the 200 medley relay team that won in a time of 1:34.34. Jared Anderson, Joao Barreto and Pijus Mackevicius followed Kerchner into the pool on that relay.

West Chester’s foursome of Sean Bell, Stephen Dow, Michael Kane and Daniel Han was second in the 200 medley relay in 1:38.82.

Jonas Ricci finished third off both diving boards Saturday in a meet against LaSalle.

West Chester travels to Lehigh next Friday for a non-league dual meet with Division I Mountain Hawks.
