Well, October is here and so is cool weather! I don’t know about you, but I’ve already put in an inordinate amount of time into planning out my Halloween costumes. October also means fall break, so we won’t be publishing an issue next week. In any case, make sure to check this one out since it’s home to a variety of great articles!
Our news editor, Halle Nelson, published a great article on the Henrietta Lacks talk on page 5 in news. In addition, for those of you who are new students, check out an article on Matthew 24 on page 2; this will explain the insanity that ensues every so often on campus from their visits.
I’d like also to take this opportunity to formally welcome our new distribution manager, Aaron Gallant! He’s a regular writer as well, so check out his articles on pages 4 and 7 on the recent Latino Conference and Sustainability seminar. Exciting news, too, for those of you who want to get more involved with The Quad: We are hiring a new copy editor!
