Dear West Chester,
What a week it has been! I am still star-struck after meeting Laurie Halse Anderson, author of “Speak,” “Wintergirls,” “Fever 1793,” “Twisted” and countless others. Her works have had a huge effect on adolescent readers (including myself), addressing topics that are difficult to talk about. I had the amazing opportunity of meeting her and attending her speech. You can check out the story on page three.
Feeling hungry? Get the review on Couch Tomato in our Features section, as well as another wonderful “Window to West Chester” piece. Check out our center spread to get some pictures from the APSCUF wiffle ball game that occurred on the academic quad last week. Read about how our incredible advisors here are under-appreciated in Op-Ed, and, as always, get the report on our talented sports teams in this week’s Sports section.
Enjoy this wonderful weather! We will not be having an issue next week due to the Easter holiday, but stay tuned for our next-to-last issue coming out on April 24!
