Dear West Chester,
It’s that time of year again—time to cozy up with your loved one or spend some quality time with your friends and family. Even if you aren’t a fan of Valentine’s Day, I think Erin King’s article in this week’s Op-Ed section rings true. Everyone should try to spread a little extra love this year, and not just to your romantic partner. Family, friends and even random strangers all deserve some acts of love and kindness given all the harsh comments we are constantly hearing on social media and television.
I’d also like to highlight this week’s Sports section—congratulations to our amazing gymnastics team! They’ve done a fantastic job, and our photographers got some amazing shots of the incredible things they can do. Catch up on the Creative Writing Club’s part II of The New Nightmare in Features, as well as an article on our recently-elected Secretary of Education in News.
On behalf of the Quad staff, we wish you a wonderful Valentine’s Day. Stay warm (though no one seemed to complain about a little snow last week) and keep a look out for the next publication coming out Feb. 27!
