Dear West Chester,
Happy November! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween weekend. Time has certainly been flying and as we begin to wind-down here at the Quad, I’ve noticed we only have two more issues left this semester! Stay tuned for next week and for an issue coming out Thanksgiving week.
Last Friday, I attended the Sykes After Dark event, Upright Citizens Touring Brigade Improv Show with the WCU Improv Club, featured on our front cover. Unfortunately, the WCU Improv Club did not participate in the show, which came as a huge disappointment to students. Don’t worry, our university’s talented group will have more performances this year, so definitely see one of their shows before the semester is over.
This week, check out an interview with screenwriter Craig Shilowich in Entertainment and a collaboration article by Managing Editor Kinjal Shah and Features Editor Rachel Alfiero about the Dakota Access Pipeline. Read up on our Sports section’s “Pro Talk” and get more information about submitting to Literati in Features.
As always, feel free to submit writing and/or photography to The Quad! We especially need more news writers, so contact our News Editor Sunny Morgan at quadnews@wcupa. edu. The more the merrier! Have a good week, West Chester!
