Dear West Chester,
What a week it has been—from the strike that started last Wednesday to homecoming, it has certainly been an exciting time here on campus. I just want to give a shout-out to The Quad and the wonderful staff we have here. There was some great coverage—from the quick breaking news articles to the photography and live streaming, students, faculty and the West Chester community were all constantly informed about the strike and the updated negotiations.
In News, check out the collaboration article on the strike that discusses the experiences students and faculty had at the other Pa. schools. The center spread this week is filled with wonderful pictures that capture the support that students had for the faculty. Check out the Creative Writing Club’s newest edition to their creative writing series, and a review of the homecoming game in Sports.
Hope you had a safe and fun homecoming weekend. Now that the strike is over, it’s time to get back to work. Don’t worry, Halloween is right around the corner!
