The Lady Rams soccer team upset Millersville yesterday with a score of 2-0. West Chester’s defense was spectacular resulting in the majority of the game taking place on Millersville’s half of the field. The Rams made several attempts at goals in the first half that were missed only by inches, but the only two goals of the game were scored by the Lady Golden Rams near the end of the second half.

There were several penalty kicks both for and against WCU.

In the second half of the game Julie Karcher scored the first goal with an assist from Elma Numerato and the second goal was scored by Brittany Yetter with an assist from Danielle Gerz.

This week’s victory brings WCU to a 14-0-2 overall record and a 9-0-1 for the conference.

This victory clinches the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference EasternDivision title. The Golden Rams have now won 17 straight games, continuing their winning streak from the end of last season.
