On Saturday Nov. 13, the Off Campus Commuter Assiociation [OCCA] completed their pretzel project with the help of organizations on campus. Several students signed up through various organizations to volunteer their time on a Saturday night. OCCA, along with West Chester University, hosted the pretzel project from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., or until students gave away all of the free pretzels from the Pretzel Factory.

The idea of the project was to give other students a pretzel to eat so that if they were drinking that night, they would not be drinking on an empty stomach, and rather, students would have a full stomach.

The organizations that had students volunteer their night include, Inter Greek Council [IGC], Residence Hall Association [RHA], Student Government Association [SGA], Black Student Union [BSU], Students for Sensible Drug Policy, Delta Zeta, Invisible Children, Sigmma Alpha Epsilon, Phi Mu, and Pi Kappa Phi.
