So I have had some feedback regarding my column and it is usually a negative stance on West Chester and different departments on campus. I was told by someone that I must be running out of offices on campus to complain about because that is all I do. Do not get me wrong, I really do think WC is a great school and I am quite happy that I have chosen to come here for my college education. However, if change is going to be made someone must speak up. If things want to get better instead of remaining sub-par then someone needs to point out what needs to change. The voice of the students is very important to change on a college campus, for we are the customers keeping this business of higher education funded. I am not going to lie, it is much easier to sit here and write about things that are annoying me about WC instead of things that satisfy me about the University. However, I am not going to sit here and simply praise an institution, which we, as students, pay a lot of money to attend. I am not, and never have been, one to give false praise, and I am not going to start now.

Like I said, I think that WCU is a great place to come to school. I have had some amazing professors, and have met some of my best friends here. I would recommend it to anyone considering higher education. But like any business there are things that can be improved, things that can be better. I am not bitching about things on campus simply to bitch, but to see improvement that my money is paying for. This is our school, our campus. We should have the right to voice what needs to change.
