Shotfun Addiction plays at the Barry Goslin Jr. Memorial Concert, hosted by Sigma Phi Epsilon, a WCU fraternity, on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Sykes Student Union. The concert was held in memory of Barry Goslin, a WCU alumni and a Sigma Phi Epsilon brother. He passed away in January, 2006. Nothing But Excuses, Fusion and The Arrangement also performed at the show. Proceeds from the concert benefit VH1’s Save the Music Foundation, which supports instrumental music education in public schools. The nonprofit organization has collected $34 million worth of new instruments, which have been donated to schools across the country.
