Thanksgiving break is swiftly approaching, and with it comes the official start of the holiday shopping season. With over 75 retail shops, the quaint streets of downtown West Chester are an attractive alternative to the chaos- ridden mall. Offering an extensive variety of retailers, West Chester is the prime destination for shoppers who are searching for one of a kind gifts.
For some, Black Friday has become a holiday in itself, but one that greatly contrasts to the relaxed Thursday of feasting and socializing. From early morning hours to seeking the best sales, the day is filled with stress. However, for those planning to spend their day shopping in downtown West Chester, one strain is resolved, as the borough will be offering free parking at all metered spots. Additionally, the Justice Center Garage, found at 230 West Market Street, will be free Friday through Sunday.
