The new West Chester University Ram-e-card has been unvailed. The Ram-e-Card design, created by Allegra Print and Imaging in West Chester, was chosen by students to represent the new face of technology on campus.
The Ram-e-Card will be much more than the simple photo ID that students are used to, allowing them to make electronic purchases all over campus. Students will be able to use their cards at vending machines and laundry facilities on campus, as well as at food service locations and the bookstore. The new e-Card will also act an access card permitting students to “swipe” into campus activities, the fitness center and more. Students will even be able to take their card off-campus to use at select businesses in the West Chester community.
Students will receive their new Ram-e-Card free of charge starting next fall, allowing them the opportunity to participate in all of these new features.
In the coming months students will begin seeing more and more apsects of the Ram-e-Card system appearing around campus.
