On March 29th, fraternity men from all eight Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) organizations will be walking a mile in high heels to represent their support for the awareness of sexual abuse against women. From the hours of 3 to 5 p.m., hundreds of fraternity men will be walking around the campus in order to display their true belief of this cause. While in may look funny to see men in heels, statistics show that one in four women are sexually abused by the time they reach the age of 18. IFC is sponsoring this program to show that the men of the Greek system will not let women stand alone in this fight. It is a great opportunity for all to get involved in a fun activity that has an important meaning behind it. Registration starts at two p.m. on March 29th, and everyone is encouraged to come out to help make a difference, with all proceeds going to benefit the Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County.Visit www.wcuquad.com for pictures covering the event of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, held on March 29th.
