Jonny Lives! is a brand new indie- rock group that was created in New York City, much like the Goo Goo Dolls and The Strokes were. Led by vocalist/guitarist Jonny Dubowski, the band evokes a garage style rock and roll, which is a characteristic that many hit groups share. The first single to come off of their debut album will be “Get Steady,” which was featured in the video game MVP Baseball 2004, and it will be serviced to college radio throughout 2006.

The album will be released to Warner Music Group sometime in the later half of 2006. The bands track “Cliche” features the musical talents of Nick Valensi (The Strokes), Sammy James Jr. (Mooney Suzuki) and Jodi Porter (Fountains of Wayne).

Within two years Jonny Lives! has toured the UK six times and has played with Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, The Kaiser Chiefs, and The Killers. Be on the lookout for Get Steady. There are sure to be a smash hit or two in it.

This says it all, “Jonny Lives! are pants- droppingly brilliant.” (NME Magazine).
