Athletes of the Week

Leane helped guide WCU to a win vs. Bloomsburg by qualifying for the NCAA II Nationals in the 500 free. She recorded an NCAA “A” cut time of 4:59.45 and also captured the 200 fly with an NCAA “B” cut mark (2:10.41). Against D-I Penn, she won the 1000 free (10:09.55), 200 IM (2:08.01) and 200 back (2:06.60). She posted an NCAA “A” cut time in the 200 IM and a “B” cut mark in the 200 back. She was named the PSAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. She was also named the WCU Women’s Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive time.
