When the clock is against you and that 8 a.m. lecture isn’t going to wait, sometimes you just have to skip breakfast. Just like every other day, you decided to forgo eating, showering and every other basic necessity to squeeze every last drop of sleep you can out from the night before.

You throw yourself out of bed, throw on some clothes and are out the door in an instant. You don’t have time to make food, who do you think you are? Lucky for you, there is as answer, and it comes in the name of Curbies.

Curbies, just like all the other patrons that also populate Church Street, is a food truck owned and operated by a dynamic duo of sandwich crafters. Located right outside of Anderson Hall, Curbies presents some things that no other food truck can.

Not only do they boast an impressive menu, ranging anywhere from chicken salads, Italian sausage, steak and egg and everything in-between, but Curbies also offers its customers the option to text in orders and pick them up at the pickup window located to the right of the truck.

This means that next time you wake up at 7:50 for an 8 a.m. lecture, you better believe that steak and egg is a text message away.

This is why Curbies can offer so much more. Being able to text on the fly, you can pick up a sandwich or meal in-between any class. Not only that, but Curbies can also offer some healthy alternatives, like salads, BLTs and more.

There are many, many food trucks that one can choose from when deciding on a quick meal between classes.

Everybody knows you can’t grab a quick meal at Sykes or Lawrence, but these food trucks can really help you out when you’re in a pinch.

Or, if you’re like me, change your sleep schedule around, because everybody knows that extra 20 minutes can make a world of a difference. That, and not scheduling an 8 a.m.
