This weekend RHA is holding its annual Spring Weekend. As in previous years, it will consist of a carnival and a movie shown outside on the jumbo screen. The film being shown this year by SAC is “Pirates of the Carribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.” To go along with the film, the theme for the weekend will be “Get Stranded at WCU.”Things will kick off early on Thursday with the sold-out O.A.R. concert sponsored by Major Entertainment. The following night RHA will hold their semi-formal gala. The price is $2; the dress code is “dress to impress.”

Starting on Saturday afternoon the carnival will kick-off in the field behind Killinger Hall. The carnival will include inflatables, sumo wrestling matches and food such as sno cones and funnel cake.

“It’s a great way to get all the students together, on-campus and off-campus,” Randi Steinberg, a member of RHA said. Steinberg also said that it is a good way for students to take a break from their studies and have a good time.
