This past week on “Survivor,” we saw the infamous loved ones return to surprise the castaways — as well as idols being played, advantages being used and so much more. To start this week’s episode, we go to the beach where the Koru tribe got to see their loved ones. Whether it’d be their kids or their wives and husbands, the castaways got much-needed relief in the crazy game that is “Survivor.” In seasons’ past, those who made it this far have had similar experiences. However, this is the first to date, thanks to Tyson’s plea to the producers, that the younger kids were brought out to see them at the beach. With their loved ones, the castaways went back to camp for the first time in the season’s history as they all ran off giddy and excited to show their families this wonderful game. As Sarah put it, “we’re all human right now.” And with that everyone got that moment, which also led to another surprise at the Edge of Extinction. The members of the Edge also got to see their loved ones, which fans did not see coming, as they were all voted out already. Overall, the castaways became truly themselves and their kids and family got to see the game in one of the harshest parts, the Edge. Several couples even met on “Survivor,” Parvati’s husband and Rob and Amber being examples of such.

After all of the heartwarming fun that the castaways had, they were thrusted right into an immunity challenge with a bonus, two fire tokens. They had to spell out ‘immunity’ with letter blocks while pulling onto a rope. In this challenge, Tony and Ben clearly pushed themselves to the end of the challenge as Ben was moments behind him before all of his letter blocks collapsed and gave Tony his first individual immunity win on this season, and for the first in three seasons of his Survivor career.

When they got back to camp, there was a lingering around camp of splitting up Sarah and Sophie due to their threat as a duo. Jeremy approached Tony, but Tony was against it. Even the idea of blindsiding Jeremy came up as they went into Tribal Council. As the tribe made it into Tribal, the ten remaining members of the tribe began to whisper yet again to one another. As the chaos began, Jeremy immediately sensed something was up and used his advantage, guaranteeing himself safety and left Tribal immediately without voting. After that occurred, the battle lines immediately drew in the sand as the two sides of the tribe got up and talked to one another, before Sarah used her steal-a-vote advantage to take Denise’s vote from the other side of the tribe, which led Kim to use her own advantage to save Denise just after that! “Survivor” is chaos, and unfortunately within all this mayhem came the reaper once again for Tyson. Tyson ended up being blindsided as the opposing side split the vote, sending Tyson back to the Edge for a second time this season.

Find out what happens next, on the next episode of “Survivor!”
