A Voice at the Table

We’re introducing a new segment to West Chester’s The Quad called “A Voice at the Table,” a diversity segment that will talk about and focus on the minority crowd, expanding outside of just race by including the LGBTQ community and different religious groups here at West Chester. As well, we will talk about the social injustices we face such as cultural appropriation, student body movements happening on campus and issues the student body feels need to be discussed. We plan to get the feedback and opinion of every student here on campus, describe the divide here on campus and become more inclusive. We will also showcase the achievements of minority students here on campus and highlight their accomplishments, encouraging them that their impact and leadership on campus is getting noticed. Our goal is to give a voice to the minority students here on campus, and spread it across campus for it to leave a valuable impact to be remembered.
