Dear West Chester,

March is finally here, which means spring is on the way. I find that our campus blooms with activity and energy this time of year, from all the events happening on the academic quad to the overall positive outlook students have as the warm weather makes its way to WCU.

Speaking of positivity, enjoy WCU’s Wish Week from March 20-24, sponsored by the Office of Student Success. There will be free presentations from guest speakers—including Steve Uhlenbrick, who will be giving a happiness presentation in Main Hall—giveaways and activities all over campus. We’ll be seeing those friendly therapy dogs as well, so if you’re feeling stressed, don’t worry. A stroll through the academic quad will give you plenty of options to relieve some of that mid-semester stress.

An update on John’s GoFundMe page—thanks to you guys, over $15,000 has been raised! Amazing—it just goes to show how much our student body cares about our wonderful service worker who always puts a smile on our faces. Continue to share and donate so that we can help him in any way we can.

This will be our last issue before spring break, but we will be back with an issue coming out March 27. Strange to think that this issue marks the half-way point of our publications!

Have a wonderful week, West Chester, and have a fun, safe and relaxing spring break. You deserve it!
