Dear West Chester,

Happy fall! It is officially time to start getting out pumpkins, picking apples and dancing in the beautiful leaves. I love our campus in the fall; the sunsets are glorious and the students are rejuvenated with new, fresh energy that comes with the crisp breezes of the season.

We have a packed issue this week. Our News section alone is filled with information about APSCUF’s potential plan for a strike and the 2016 Debate Watch.

It is an exciting time to be a part of The Quad with breaking news hitting us from every direction. The pace has been non-stop since Donald Trump’s arrival to campus, and since then we’ve had some exellent reporting on the election as well as all the political events happening here on campus.

Be sure to take a look at our first edition of the Creative Writing Club’s creative writing series in the Features section. Check out the Entertainment section with information about the recent Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience concert presented by WCU Live! Get the coverage on our sports teams and hear the opinions of our fellow students in our Sports and Op-Ed sections as well.

Enjoy this week’s issue; there is a ton of exciting content and we are excited to be reporting on it all.

Have a good week, and enjoy this beautiful fall weather!
