The West Chester University women’s tennis team won their regular season finale over Harford Community College, 9-0.

They finished the regular season with a 14-6 record which includes the fall season. They have won the PSAC East title for the second straight season. Their playoff push will begin through the PSAC Tournament on Friday, April 29.

The game will be either against Mercyhurst or Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The tournament will be held at Bloomsburg University.

Earlier in the season, they faced Mercyhurst and dropped the match three games to six. They have not faced Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

WcU fell in the first round of the PSAC Tournament last year against IUP, and they failed to win a game. They will look to exact revenge this year and hopefully get on the board.

Either way, they have had a very successful season. As for the men, they did struggle a little bit.

The men’s final record is 5-14, but they will still recieve a chance in the PSAC Tournament. They will be facing Edinboro in the first round.

Edinboro has been a tough team for the Golden Rams. They fell in the regular season zero games to nine, and they also faced them in the first round of the PSAC Tournament last year, falling zero games to five.

Both matches will be Friday, April 29. The championship will take place on Saturday, April 30.
