Dear West Chester,
Hello! My name is Samantha Mineroff, and I cannot be more excited to be writing my first ‘Letter from the Editor’. It has been a wonderful year for our paper, but as you may have noticed, we have changed our management quite a bit. Sadly, many of our editors are graduating or leaving. Mark, Jeffrey, Jose, Colleen, Ryan, AJ, Lauren, Kim, Ruth, Timothy, Thomas and Ashley, I wish you all the best of luck as you finish up your last few weeks.
I have only been on the paper for about a year now, but it has been an absolute pleasure working with all of you. Mark, I have never seen someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. Jose and Colleen, I have always been impressed by your consistantly beautiful photos. Jeffrey, your witty comments and sense of humour will be missed. Ryan and AJ, you were both so welcoming when I was training to be the Op-Ed editor, and always kept me laughing while in the office. Kim and Lauren, you are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever worked with. Tim, Thomas, and Ruth, though I never worked with you personally, your excellent work has never gone unnoticed. Ashley, you have been so patient with me when I started training to be the new EIC. And Casey, I hope to continue to do the great work you’ve done for the paper.
As much as I am going to miss these guys, I am incredibly confident in our new staff. Bryce, Brooke, Dimitri, Lauren, Kinjal, Sunny, and the rest of our crew, you have all been incredibly patient with me and passionate about your work. I am so excited for all of you; I know you’ll do an amazing job.
