WCU Weekly is a weekly news program produced by students for the students. Covering topics like sports, current events, weather, and much more the crew has always enjoyed being the voice of campus happenings.
With the new academic year approaching the crew is looking for motivated students to come on board and learn from the hands on experience. In particular, WCU Weekly is in need of an editor. If you can edit videos using the program Adobe Premiere please take the time to email wcuweekly@wcupa.edu about your interest.
The crew is also looking for extra hands in producing and writing. Students may not always be on camera but they will be learning and growing within the field.
Also, with the new year starting up the producers are looking into more on camera opportunities for new members. With a little hard work under your belt, you may just be in front camera before you know it.
One thing to note is that WCU Weekly does not just stop after college. Fellow cast and crew members have gone on to achieve much success from the knowledge they have acquired through their time spent on the set, here at West Chester University. From QVC to ESPN to everything in between, WCU Weekly is an amazing resume -builder.
