Known for her sarcastic wit and ever-growing brutal jokes, Chelsea Handler is making a big move in Hollywood. Handler, a stand-up comedian, tv host and now a best selling author, was rumored to be leaving E! Entertainment, the current network hosting her late night talk show, “Chelsea Lately,” for the notable NBC. But are these rumors true?

Yes and no. Handler still plans on sticking with E! Online to continue to host her popular talk show. However, Handler signed a script deal with NBC, who, in return, will be turning Handler’s best selling novels, “Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea,”

“My Horizontal Life,” and “Chelsea Chelsea, Bang Bang,” into television sitcoms. All threenovels are based off of Handler’s experiences as a 20-year-old aspiring entertainer.

The main character in the series will be an imitation of Handler in personality but not profession.

Chelsea signed on to be executive producer of the shows while still hosting Chelsea Lately. E! Online reports that Chelsea Handler is signed on to do her show until 2012, after which she will also be a part of a spinoff show of Chelsea Lately called After Lately.

So, any other news in Handler’s life besides her rumored romance with rap artist, 50 Cent? Chelsea Handler is remaining very quiet on her apparent fling with 50 Cent, saying on an episode of her show, “There are all sorts of rumors going around about myself and a certain rapper with a number in his name.”The two have been spotted together recently in a nightclub in New Orleans, looking very cozy.

Who knows, maybe the couple were in fact “in the club, bottle full of bub.”
