Communication students will be celebrating their major again in February as they take advantage of the vast connections the leader’s of their on-campus organization, Women (and Men) in Communications, have acquired through their experience. The night, aptly titled “Communication Career Night” is the third annual of it’s kind, and will welcome a diverse panel of professionals in the career offering their range of background, observations, and advice. Speakers in the past have included those in the fields of television, public relations, radio, print journalism, and other unique business opportunists.
The dress code calls for professional business attire, and those planning on attending are asked to arrive by 6:30 (with an expected lasting time of three hours) in Sykes Ballroom C on Wednesday, February 11. Afterwards, top-of-the-line refreshments will be available in the next room over.
President Connie Pearson, also responsible for the recent success of the club’s trip to Washington DC – and upcoming adventure to New York, speaks very highly of her organized event and urges students to come out and make new connections.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this event as well as join this West Chester University membership-free association.
