Car shopping? There are tons of new cars out there this season that may spark an interest. Here is a quick look at a few new or updated models that are hot this year. The best car to begin with is definitely the much talked about 2005 Corvette. What a beautiful car! According to the National Corvette Museum, “The 2005 Chevrolet Corvette delivers more power, passion and precision to reach a new standard of performance car excellence.” With its high-powered LS2 engine, the 2005 Corvette is put in a power range that competes with some of the most expensive sports cars out there. And even though it is in the $50,000 range, it still remains cheaper than some big names like Ferrari and Porsche, to name a few.Another car that seems to be turning some heads this season is the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
With sales falling due to the popularity of bigger and better SUVs, Jeep decided to make a few changes. Just the appearance makes it look better! There will be three available engine models out this year: The 5.7 liter HEMI V8, the 3.7 liter V6, and the 4.7 liter V8 from the previous model will all be on the market.
This year?s Jeep is going in the $30,000 to $35,000 range. There isn?t as much cargo space as most SUV?s but there is a look and feel of luxury that has never before been seen in any Jeep models.
The new 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid is definitely something to talk about. The big deal about the Hybrid is that it is now equipped with VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) technology and according to autosite.com, “VCM selectively deactivates three of the Accord Hybrid?s six cylinders under specific driving conditions (such as when cruising at highway speeds) in an effort to improve fuel economy.” This model will be running on its 3.0 liter V6 engine and is expected to be priced in the $30,000 range.
One of the newest cars out there that is being aimed at younger crowds is the new Toyota Scion tC. There are also the xA and xB models, but the one that seems to be grabbing most of the attention is the tC. With its 2.4 liter V4 engine, this is not just any Toyota. This car is aimed at youth because it is affordable and “young-looking.” It looks small on the outside but it is a five-passenger car that has plenty of space.
