This week is “Educate for Equality” with great events sponsored by an array of organizations all week. Highlights include “Coming out as a College Athlete” Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Sykes Ballrooms, and a Casino Night sponsored by BSU in Sykes Common Grounds Wednesday at 8 p.m. For more details and other events, check out the new link on the WCU events page (found by clicking on Events on the WCU homepage) called “What’s Happening at WCU.”
The annual “Java Jam” sponsored by SAC is this Friday at 8 p.m. in Sykes Ballrooms, free with WCU ID. It’s a great time, so be sure to make it out! “Funny People” is playing this week in Sykes, Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. & 12 a.m. and Sunday night at 8 p.m., sponsored by SAC. Congratulations again to our Women’s Soccer Team on a great season! Four of our Men’s Soccer players were named to the All PSAC squad and 10 of our football players were named to the All PSAC East squad! Good luck to both of our basketball teams as their seasons begin – both are playing the University of the Sciences this Tuesday night, starting at 6 p.m. It looks to be two great games!
