The wigs will be higher, the makeup will be wilder and the outfits will be over the top. The best queens from previous seasons are returning to “RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race.”

The most famous drag queen in the world, RuPaul, hosts, mentors, and inspires on “RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race,” which is the ultimate drag queen competition. Playing a double role, RuPaul the drag queen rules in all judging and eliminations, while RuPaul the man helps guide the contestants as they prepare for each challenge. Contestants include the nation’s most outrageous, cutting-edge, talented, and stunningly gorgeous drag queens who are all fighting for the title of “Top Drag Queen.”

Working with the contestants are various different people in the media, including top models, designers, and American idols. Each week, through trials and tribulations of glam, glitter, and show stopping performances, one drag queen is eliminated until only the next superstar drag queen of America is left standing.

This season, the twelve returning contestants are Shannel, Tammie Brown, Jujubee, Raven, Nina Flowers, Alexis Mateo, Mimi Imfurst, Manila Luzon, Pandora Boxx, Yara Sofia, Latrice Royale and Chad Michaels. The contestants are competing in teams of two.

The series will air six episodes, each lasting an hour. “RuPaul’s All Star Drag Race” premieres on Monday Oct. 22 on Logo at 9 p.m.
