Dear Editor:The biographical sketch of Keith Edward Colpetzer has been selected for inclusion in the 59th Edition of Marquis Who’s Who in America, the leading publisher of biographical information on notable living Americans that have made significant contributions to science, business or the arts. Keith received a BS in Biology/Ecology from West Chester University in May of 2000 and a MS in Entomology/Ecology from the University of Delaware in 2003. Keith has worked as an environmental consultant with James McCulley and Aquatic Invertebrate Identification Services, a survey technician with the Delaware Department of Agriculture, a research assistant at both the University of Delaware and North Carolina State University, and he is currently employed as an entomologist at the USDA Plant Epidemiology and Risk Analysis Laboratory in Raleigh, North Carolina. Keith has contributed articles to prolific journals, and he was awarded the Asa Fitch Memorial award by the Eastern Branch of the Entomological Society of America in 2004. His research includes biological control of the exotic invasive weed, mile-a-minute and methods for estimating the risk of invasion and establishment of quarantine-significant pests in the US from the importation of foreign fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants.
